There’s a particular kind of humor that lives somewhere between curiosity and irony. It’s the kind you develop when you grow up loving science fiction, old cartoons, bad sci-fi movies, elegant theories, failed experiments, and the uncomfortable feeling that technology is always one step ahead of us. Would this work as a T-shirt design? The idea hit me out of nowhere: a Glock drawn inside a plastic model box, like a Gundam kit. The caption would be “GUNPLA” — part homage to Gunpla model kits, part jab at Glock fanboys (you know, the ones who lose their minds if you call their guns plastic ).
